At Dayton, some of you may have noticed an S-COM 7330 mounted in a rack in the Yaesu booth between two Yaesu DR-1 System Fusion repeaters. This demonstration showed how an S-COM 7330 can provide analog linking between two DR-1's as well as with other analog linking and repeater equipment.
Since the weeks before Dayton, S-COM has been working with Yaesu to test this configuration. As of this posting, this work is continuing well. Very soon we should have all testing completed and Yaesu will be ready to release their update. At that time, we will be providing a cable wiring diagram and programming examples for operating the 7330 with the DR-1X in its various operating modes.
